Each year, we engage in interdisciplinary collaborations using fresh and dried flowers in various countries.

About Florist Nana

Nana Chen, born in Taipei, is a versatile floral artist. She earned her Master’s degree in Fine Art from Kingston University, London, and later continued her training at the Royal College of Art, establishing a solid foundation in British art and design.

In 2014, with the support of Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture, she founded her independent floral studio Urbanbotany. She also trained under the Ikenobo school of ikebana, the oldest and most historic school of Japanese floral art, which deepened her understanding of Zen philosophy and wabi-sabi aesthetics.

Now based in Frogtown, Los Angeles, Nana works under the name Nana’s Gathering, specializing in contemporary Eastern floral design. Her creations blend modern design with the quiet elegance of Japanese aesthetics, crafting floral experiences for weddings, brand events, and art projects that go beyond decoration to evoke atmosphere, emotion, and memory.
