Our Story
Urbanbotany was founded in 2013 in Taipei, carrying the heritage of British academy-style floral artistry. Founder and head florist Nana Chen graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 2012, and has since continued to explore the intersection of floral design and contemporary art.
Today, Urbanbotany’s studio is based in Frogtown, Los Angeles, creating floral designs for commercial events, brand activations, and weddings. Our signature lies in blending modern aesthetics with Japanese and Eastern sensibilities, cultivating arrangements that embody both Zen simplicity and refined elegance. As a distinctive contemporary floral artist, Nana’s work goes beyond decoration—it is the creation of atmosphere and an expression of art, leaving each event and wedding with a unique and unforgettable floral memory.
